Its Boxing Day in Victoria BC and I just got back from some amazing cycling. The weather conditions were just right. Its no wonder that you can train for cycling just about all year around here. I left from the Selkirk Station Bicycle and Kayak shop were I had rented an entry level Jamis road bike. They were very helpful in directing me on one of their 'suggested rides' . It took me out the Gallloping Goose Trail which is perfect for recreational riding. Apparently it goes to Sooke which is about 60 kilometres away. Too far for my late start today but I did get to Royal Roads University. The views and all the fresh air were awesome.
